DMK has pulled out of the Congress alliance. It might contest close to 175 seats. AIADMK will contest close to 140 seats
going by the strength of these parties and the confusion among voters none of these parties are going to win a outright majority. In that case any party with 10-15 seats will be the Kingmaker. That is what Vijaykant's DMDK is aiming at.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gaining good momentum in Tamil Nadu. The current yatra by Mr Radhakrishnan evoked good response. But contesting all 234 seats will be a futile effort. Instead it should limit to 50 seats - one per LS constituency and four or five in Kanyakumari and Coimbatore.
A focussed campaign in limited number of seats will fetch more seats for BJP. Hmmm
bjp should be a deciding factor for forming government. No party must be able to form the government without approval of BJP. This must be the strategy of Bharatheeya janatha party. Presnt situation must be favourable for this approach.
