Karnataka Elections - JD (S) workers distribute fake money

JD (S) workers had distributed fake currency at Goragondanahalli village in Tiptur taluk of Tumkur

Gullible voters had been distributed four notes each of Rs 50 denomination on the eve of the first phase of polling in Karnataka.

Most menfolk quickly made good use of the ill-gotten wealth, but some women and Streeshakti groups decided to deposit the money in banks. To their horror, they realised that the notes were all fake. Digg Technorati Delicious StumbleUpon Reddit BlinkList Furl Mixx Facebook Google Bookmark Yahoo

Narendra Modi to be Advani's deputy

What the Congress had scared is slowly turning into reality. BJP is all set to endorse Narendra Modi for prime ministership in the coming years. Mr Modi will play active part in the fortcoming Parliament in a 'probationary' position, which obviously refers to 'Deputy Primeminister'.

The party is not spelling out this in open as it has to be first endorsed by NDA allies. With the BJP expecting a thumping win in Jharkand, Westerm UP, Bihar, Punjab and Rajasthan, it would be easy to convince the allies post-election on Narendra Modi's elevation.

This argument gains credence as the party has already started the identification of Chief Minister for Gujarat after Modi

Congress party, which has its fingers crossed over the outcome of Andhra Pradesh verdict is worried about the 'double whammy' of BJP - LK Advani and Narendra Modi

Latest results show Narendra Modi is far ahead of Congress's Rahul Gandhi when it comes to Youth Digg Technorati Delicious StumbleUpon Reddit BlinkList Furl Mixx Facebook Google Bookmark Yahoo

NDTV predicts 28 seats for Congress in Andhra

Last two weeks local and national media were writing-off congress party in Andhra. If this has de-moralised the Congress and YSR's supporters, the NDTV opinion poll comes as a breather. NDTV predicts 28 seats for Congress, 13 for TDP+ and JUST ONE FOR CHIRANJEEVI.

Hope the party loyalists are happy with it Digg Technorati Delicious StumbleUpon Reddit BlinkList Furl Mixx Facebook Google Bookmark Yahoo
