Actor-politician R Sarath Kumar-led All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) has finalised its alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Lok Sabha elections. The party would contest seven seats from Tamil Nadu
Actor Karthik's Nadalum Makkal Katchi is already in alliance with the BJP and will contest close to six seats.
Both the parties will contest on Lotus symbol of BJP. It remains to be seen how many seats the alliance can win in Tamil Nadu - a stronghold of two dravidian parties - the DMK and AIADMK
