Narendra Modi to be Advani's deputy

What the Congress had scared is slowly turning into reality. BJP is all set to endorse Narendra Modi for prime ministership in the coming years. Mr Modi will play active part in the fortcoming Parliament in a 'probationary' position, which obviously refers to 'Deputy Primeminister'.

The party is not spelling out this in open as it has to be first endorsed by NDA allies. With the BJP expecting a thumping win in Jharkand, Westerm UP, Bihar, Punjab and Rajasthan, it would be easy to convince the allies post-election on Narendra Modi's elevation.

This argument gains credence as the party has already started the identification of Chief Minister for Gujarat after Modi

Congress party, which has its fingers crossed over the outcome of Andhra Pradesh verdict is worried about the 'double whammy' of BJP - LK Advani and Narendra Modi

  1. Yes- Modi and andhra Pradesh are two worrisome factors for congress. Already news is trickling in that congress is set for a major debacle in Telangana and south coastal andhra and may well impact parliament seats tally.
