Akilesh Yadhav - Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister - Probable PM for 2014

It is not a big surprise that Rahul Gandhi bit the dust in 2012 UP Assembly elections. His high voltaile election campaign combined with his sister Priyanka and his Pastor brother-in-law Robert Vadhera turned out to be a damp squib.

Congress would have infact fared very badly if they haven't aligned with Ajit Singh's RLD.

Here is how chances are there for a Third Front in 2014 (or even 2012/13)

State Party Probable Seats
Tamil Nadu DMK+ 22
Kerala LDF 15
Karnataka JD (S) 12
Andhra  YSR / TD 25

Rahul Gandhi - Congress's White Elephant

Election results for 2012 in five states are out. For all the effort Rahul and his gadget holding team has put in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab the results have been very poor.

Rahul's repeated the mistake of ignoring local UP leaders this time too. This has costed the party a lot. The party is losing in Amethi and Rae Bareilly segments as well

Is Rahul becoming a white elephant for the Congress? Is it time for the party to decide on his future Digg Technorati Delicious StumbleUpon Reddit BlinkList Furl Mixx Facebook Google Bookmark Yahoo

Its Putin Again

Putin has comeback as a President. By winning 62% of the vote he has proved his popularity once again. The nearest opponent Gennady Zyuganov could able to muster 17% of the votes.

Veteran Gennady Zyuganov of the communist party has been fighting the election for decades without success.

Western powers tried their level best to have a run-off but couldn't. Their plan of having some neo-liberal come second and have a run-off with Putin didn't succeed.

Wish Putin and Russia all good ahead Digg Technorati Delicious StumbleUpon Reddit BlinkList Furl Mixx Facebook Google Bookmark Yahoo
