After being thrown bread-crumbs by its allies in UP and Bihar, Sonia led Congress party sails with the alliance. The party was allocated 7 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and 3 out of 40 in Bihar by its coalition partners. For a party with strong kisan support, it is a shame for Congress to be reduced to a factional outfit in the Gangetic belt. Its intelligence had reported Rahul factor's failure long back and wanted to change the strategy, which was not taken seriously.
Whatever be the reason. it is neither good for the Congress party nor the country to play as a miniscule partner in the coming elections.
The party should heed to the voices of its cadres and should contest all 120 seats in UP & Bihar on its own
