"I am not running the party for three or four seats. My alliance is only with the people and God," Vijaykant said while addressing a series of meetings in the district.
This was after all the seat-sharing talks with AIADMK and DMK failed. Both were hesitant to part more than two seats to the party, though Congress tried its best to woo Vijakanth to UPA
The party is supposed to have 4.5 to 5% voteshare in TamilNadu. mostly coming from Telugu speaking areas like Virudunagar, Madurai, Rajapalayam, Srivilliputtur, Arcot and Villupuram.
It needs to be seen if Vijaykant a Naidu will tie-up with Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam a caste-based party from neighboring Andhra Pradesh
