Maharashtra is a big state sending forty-eight members to parliament. In the Last election UPA won 22 seats (Congress 13 and NCP 9), the NDA has won 25 seats (BJP 13 and Shiv Sena 12).
This time it is again an even contest with NDA having an edge over UPA. The final tally might be almost even

UPA (Congress + NCP) - 21 Seats
Congress Rebel - 01 Seat
Others (BSP, RP, etc) - 01 Seat
